P90X

Hello world, so I know that I have neglected you guys, and I am very sorry. I have been so busy lately with school, working out, looking for a new job, and helping my friend redo her new house.

My husband was away for 2 wks from Sept 16 to the 29th (actually 28th) in NC. He surprised me and came home a day early, which was awesome but I looked like total crap when he knocked on the door, plus the house was a total mess....lol. I was still happy I was able to sleep with him again so it didn't matter.

I did the Insanity/Brazilian Butt Lift hybrid program for a good month but got bored with it, so as of Monday I started P90X Round 1 Week1. Im doing the Classic program for these next 13 wks (Oct 1st-Dec 29th) then after that I will start the Lean program in Jan after taking a wk off of exercising. I will be posting progress pictures here to let you guys see my journey, so let's see where I look by Dec. Wish me luck.

Haven't Really Talked to Him =(

So we are going into the 2nd week of my DH being away at 29 Palms & we haven't really talked except for early morning July 5th. I got in from watching the fireworks with my friend Jessica & her BF Alejandro around 10:45pm. I decided to do Insanity before bed so I did it and right after got in the shower. While I was finishing up I heard someone calling on Skype it was the hubby. I got to talk to him for about an hour and half. I was a very happy wife when I got off the phone & went to sleep. It was so good being able to hear his voice & see his sexy face.

I can wait until he is home, and according to him he told me yesterday in a quick text that he should be back in Jersey in 2 days. Which is sooner then they were supposed to come back so who really knows because I haven't spoken to him at all since.

Besides not being able to get in touch with the DH I haven't had a bad time alone. This past weekend I spent it in the pool with family & friends. I got a little color on me.

Then yesterday my best friend Kim (Partna) & Ary came over for dinner. it was the first time I cooked since Angel has been gone. Then we watched Teen Wolf while drinking a glass on wine....lol....we had a good time & I needed that because I was really missing my DH yesterday.

Hopefully I get to talk to him tonight (fingers crossed).

Hubby is at 29 Palms

He left for AT (annual training/Reservists) on Saturday. I was able to talk to him for a little on Saturday, then on Monday & didn't talk to him again until last night around 12:30am. I know it's only for 2 wks but I still miss him & he misses me too.

He left on Saturday morning to Picatinny Arsenal Army Base. I went out with my gf Jessie. we went to eat dinner at Applebee's & then went to see......

Sunday I went to my husband's cousin's house to take a dip in the pool until it started raining cats & dogs. But luckily it was only for a little while & we went right back in to keep cool.

I really didn't do anything Monday & Tuesday except hangout with my mom since she was leaving to Maryland on Tuesday night.

So I celebrated 4th of July basically by myself. I mean I went to my cousin's house for a little while and then to see the fireworks with my friend Jessie & her boyfriend. We had a good time but it was the same as previous years.

I got home around 2245 last night did some Insanity (which is going great by the way) took a quick shower right after. And thatnk God it was quick because if not I was going to miss my Skype call from my love. We talked until 0200am my time, 2300 California time. Then I had to be up at 0530 to get ready & be in at work at 0700. So I'm running on 3 1/2 hrs of sleep.

Marine Corps Ball

Hey loves, so the Marine Corps Ball; for my husbands company was last Saturday (11/19/11). We had an awesome time, the dj was way better then last year & the food was great. The guest speaker was a retired Marine who served our country for 30 yrs and loved it. He was such an inspiration to the guys. The video that they played this year at the ball was so moving and touching,  I know there were many ppl crying because I was since they were talking about the Sept 11th attacks. 

I know I had said we were going to stay at the hotel & they were supposed to do something nice for us but we ended up leaving at the end of the night because we needed the money that we were going to use to pay for the room to fix my cars axle. So no hotel stay for us :( !!

OH I forgot to tell you, while the ceremony was going on one of the Marines that was standing next to the cake was falling asleep, so one of my husband's squad leaders got up and switched places with him. I just hope he went alone because he was going to be embarassed in front of his guest if he wasn't after the ceremony.

Almost That Time Again......

for the Maine Corps Ball. Ours is this Saturday the 18th, & I am so excited to go because now this year my hubby has friends in his company & gets along with most of them. Now that means I will get to meet wives, and hopefully make new friends. I'm also excited because we are staying at the hotel and I called the desk for a reservation & asked them if they can do something special for us since we didnt get to do anything for our 1 year wedding anniversary since the hubby was away training. They said yes & that we will be surprised when we go to our room.....I can't wait to see what they have in stored for us.

Marine Ball Here I Come

I can't believe that the ball is in 2 wks for us. We are staying at the hotel this time around, & I am so excited. I already have my dress & let me tell you I have only lost 8 lbs this month but I think I look good in my dress. I already have my shoes. All I have to do that day is get my hair and nails done. 

I even told the hotel if they can do something special for us since my husband wasn't home this yr to celebrate our wedding anniversary & they are going to surprise us, which I think is awesome considering it is 5 months after our wedding anniversary. I will take lots of pictures to show all of you what they did & how the ball turned out.

 

Surprise Homecoming from My Husband!

So as most of you know my husband has been out in the field & I was supposed to go pick him up this past Sunday morning. Well, on Friday night I was talking to him & he told me that they extended his stay for a night. He had just gotten to the base that night from training at Ft. Drum in NY. I was telling him how much it sucked but that I couldn't wait to go pick him up on Sunday morning. I didn't know why but you know that Marine Corps always have a change of plans so I didn't think anything of it.  

My mom stood over my house Friday night because her whole block lost power do to the heat wave, so after I finished talking to my hubby we went to sleep around 12 or so. Around 8 in the morning I hear a knock at my door & I hear Hope barking (she only does that when there are people at the door) like crazy. So the Hubby surprised me by waking up to him knocking at the door that morning. Best wake up call ever. Like I said before I was going to pick him up at the base (Picatinny Aresenal) on Sunday but my Bro-In-Law was in on it and brought him to me at 8AM. I was supposed to go to the pool but I completely changed my mind about that.....lol

I love you baby having you at the door Saturday morning was the best surprise EVER!!!

Happy Birthday Mr Camacho & 100th Post!

Today is my husband's 27th birthday & I can't be with him to clebrate yet thanks to the good ol' Marine Corps. He is still out in the field & won't be back until Saturday. Thank God it is this week because Admin had messed up the bus contracts & he had told me that he might have to stay for another week because the contract said they had to be picked up the 29th instead of the 22nd. I swear when he told me my heart sank, but I'm so happy that it was all worked out & I get to pick him up on Saturday & celebrate his Birthday.

I love you hunny I hope you make the best out of today with your brothers in arms!!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS MY 100TH POST!!!!

When I started this blog back in October of 2010 I didn't think that I would have written so much, & poured out my heart for everyone to read, let alone for me to have 32 followers. I appreaciate everyone of you that read what I have to say.

I'm so happy that I have become friends & have come to get to know so many Military Wives. I even meet a great friend from the bloggy world. She even came out to my place for dinner & have a few laughs. We have become so close & I am glad that I was able to find a great friend in her.

The blog world has been so incredibly supportive when I was having problems with my husband (which we are great by the way) & gave me such encouraging words. I will continue to write & read all the blog post that each & everyone of you write.

My 4th of July Weekend Recap

Hey bloggy world!!! Sorry I haven'twritten for a while but I have been reading all your blogs. So I had a great 4th of July, we were supposed to go to the go to the NJ State Fair on Friday but ended up knocking with the hubby while watching a movie on the couch.

Saturday we went to Staten Island so babes can get numbers for the payments he will be making for when he buys a bike. He is so excited to get a motorcycle. But just his luck the motorcycle store was closed for the holiday weekend. Went to another motorcycle mall here in Belleville, NJ actually only 5 mins away & got all the info he needed. We should've just went there in the first place...lol. But it was a good adventure & time in the car going to Staten Island. 

Later on that night my goddaughter came to sleep over while her mommy went out on a date with her boyfriend. We were getting a lil practice with having kids because she is only 6  months. We had a good time playing with her & so did our puppy Hope.

Sunday our goddaughter was picked up & we just had a relaxing rainy day at home. We tried to go see Bad Teacher but the movie theater was too crowded & couldn't find a parking so we just went home. We got all our stuff ready for the lake on Monday.

Yesterday we got up around 5AM to be at the SIL house at 5:30AM so we can be on our way to the lake. We had to wait until 8AM to get in to the park & until 10AM. We had a great time, with family, food, music, friends & the sun (which by the way I got burned :(.....it hurts). We came back home early enough to rest & get ready to go see the fireworks at the local high school's football field. We took the puppy & she was terrified I felt so bad for the lil miss.

Sorry it got so long but I haven't updated you guys in a while.

PS~Things with the hubby & I are great, & this time apart that he will be out in the field for 2 1/2 wks will just make us stronger.



Happy 1 Year Anniversary to Us!!!

As you can tell from my title yesterday was my 1 yr Wedding Anniversary & on Monday it was our 5 yr anniversary. I can't believe that this year has gone by so quick. 

I have been so blessed to have such a wonderful caring husband. I couldn't have asked for anyone better, he is truly my best friend, my soul-mate, & my one & only. I'm sure that my father had something to do with him & I seeing each other that night in the Walgreens parking lot....hehehehe. He spoke to the big man upstairs to send me a great man to take care of me & he did his job.

Unfortunately, we are not going to spend it together because the good ole, Marine Corps decided he had to go train THIS weekend. But he said he is going to make it up to me so I hope that happens...lol. I'm getting a good taste of  how our future is going to be while he is in the USMC, even though we couldn't celebrate together this anniversary, I wouldn't trade my life for anything in the world & hopefully we get to celebrate many many more anniversaries together.

Happy Military Spouse Appreciation Day!!!

I just wanted to wish all the Military spouses a happy day today. We are some of strongest women I know & have come to really to appreciate. Before I married my Marine I knwo that Military wives were special & had it tough, but until I started going through it I came to really see what we go through. This is truly the silent rank & the hardest job in the military. I hope you ladies have a wonderful day next to your husband or get a phone call if they are deployed.

HAPPY 235th BIRTHDAY MARINES!

Happy Birthday Marines!!! I'm so proud to be a Marine Wife. I am grateful for everything that my husband does & for every man & woman in The Marines Corps that have giving there all to this country.
