Haven't Really Talked to Him =(

So we are going into the 2nd week of my DH being away at 29 Palms & we haven't really talked except for early morning July 5th. I got in from watching the fireworks with my friend Jessica & her BF Alejandro around 10:45pm. I decided to do Insanity before bed so I did it and right after got in the shower. While I was finishing up I heard someone calling on Skype it was the hubby. I got to talk to him for about an hour and half. I was a very happy wife when I got off the phone & went to sleep. It was so good being able to hear his voice & see his sexy face.

I can wait until he is home, and according to him he told me yesterday in a quick text that he should be back in Jersey in 2 days. Which is sooner then they were supposed to come back so who really knows because I haven't spoken to him at all since.

Besides not being able to get in touch with the DH I haven't had a bad time alone. This past weekend I spent it in the pool with family & friends. I got a little color on me.

Then yesterday my best friend Kim (Partna) & Ary came over for dinner. it was the first time I cooked since Angel has been gone. Then we watched Teen Wolf while drinking a glass on wine....lol....we had a good time & I needed that because I was really missing my DH yesterday.

Hopefully I get to talk to him tonight (fingers crossed).

Awesome Weekend

So I had a great weekend as you can tell fromt he title of my blog, unfortunatley I forgot my camera at home when I went to the pool on base so you wont get to see anything from Saturday but on Sunday we took pictures at Dorney Park.

So on Friday night I picked up my oldest niece so she can spend the weekend with me. I had plans so she can have a great weekend. We woke up late on Saturday, we had 30 mins to get ready pack the car up, pick up my cousin with her son, & my mom. Then we headed to the Arm Base where my husband is stationed. They have a great pool on base & of course it is so cheap for us military dependants that don't live on base. I was able to take 4 guests. We were there for a good 4 hrs. I went to the commissary bought things to make sandwiches and made our lunch. We went home just so I can get ready to go to an in-laws, after that rush back home because I had to baby sit my Goddaughter until her mama called & cancelled so my niece & I went home and watched Easy A until we knocked out.

Yesterday we got up early to get dressed & ready to pick up my Partna in Crime (Kim) & head out to Allentown, PA where Dorney Park is located. We had such an awesome time just us girls. We got to the park around 10:30 got on all the water rides and lounged by the pool to work on our tan. After all that swimming around & catching rays we got hungry so we went to the car to have some lunch & change into our dry clothes. We got ready & headed back to the park to enjoy all the roller coaster along with everythng else. We took some pictures so I will share with you.......

We had such a great time that I am going agin this coming Sunday with the hubby since he is finally coming back on Saturday from the field.....yay!!!!

 

An update on my Happiness....

I just want to thank all of you guys that responded & gave encouraging words to me on my last post. 

My husband & I spoke about everything that I was feeling, we fought, we made up & agreed to go speak to our pastor the one that married us. Since Thursday we have been so much better.  We spoke for about 3 hrs straight after my best friend left the house. I told him everything that was bothering me, how I felt like he wanted to cheat on me, & how I was afraid of loosing him & getting a divorce.

He said that there is nothing in the world that would him want to leave me. Yes that we argue but what married couple doesn't. He loves me just the way I am even if I get on his nerves sometimes just like he gets on mine. He told me that the chic means nothing she is just a friend, I mean I knew about her but they never really talked until recently that they started talking almost everyday after a couple of years that is why I felt the way I did. He says, that he would be stupid to do anything to jeopardize our marriage because he will never find anyone like me.

Remember how he had changed the password to the phone, well I told him about that & he gave it to me, he understood my reasoning. I also told him about the msgs on Facebook & he apologizes for making me feel like he is hiding something but he really isn't because he erases everything he doesn't like to keep anything old.

I'll keep you guys updated but so far after this huge bump in the road for us we are past it & I just hope better things happen from now on between us.

Again, I'm so grateful to all of you for your encouraging words. You guys have no idea how much that meant for me.

 

Hubby's SOI Grad 5/21/10

Ok, so I posted about my hubby's Family Day & Graduation Day on Parris Island, SC now it's time for his SOI journey.

We made it back from SC around 2AM the day after Angel's graduation day. I loved having him home but did get a lil annoyed that I had to share him with other people...lol. Well when he was home on his 10 day leave, we decided to go to the court house & get married. It was a quick ceremony and no one was there but his dad, my best friend Kim, and his best friend Andy. We didn't tell anyone in our family that we were getting married except for our immediate family because we were still doing the big church wedding 3 months later. 

A few days later I had to drive my NEW HUSBAND to JFK Airport so he can leave me again for 2 months this time for School Of Infantry = SOI. That day sucked, I mean it wasn't as bad as when he left for boot but it still sucked nonetheless.

So I got to talk to my new husband alomst every night while he was in SOI. The only week I didn't get to hear his voice was the first time he went to the field. It was horrible since I got used to hearing his voice I was feeling lonely again. But I started writing & mailing him letters just like I did in boot. That helped me so much. I still remember how I felt when he was finally able to talk to him when he got back to the barracks. Well, the wks past & I kept planning our big church wedding while he was in SOI. I got to talk to him all the time & got texts during the day. I loved it. It was so much better then boot. 

The week before graduation I asked my mom if I can borrow her car to take a road trip with my best friend Kim aka Partna In Crime. She of course said yes and we thought we were gonna embark on that 10 hr drive alone & have the best time of the world.....WRONG!!! Because my father & brother-in-law decided to come along. I mean I doon't blame them but we kind of just want to go alone...lol. I still love them though, & we still had a good time. 

Can't you tell we had a blast...lol....love that girl.

Well, we finally arrived on base around 4:30AM we slept in the SUV as best as all 4 of us could....all cramped up. Then around 6:30AM we woke up and got ready to see my Marine and the ceremony that would start shortly. I loved seeing my man after 2 months, I meet some of his friends that wanted to meet me for some odd reason...lol. We had a good time while we were there looking at all the weapons before the ceremony started.

   



We were all able to talk for awhile and he was able to show us around a lil. Then he had to go get in formation to start with the whole ceremony. There was a lady there that went to graduation dressed liked she was going to the club, by the way she was standing and everything you can tell that she wanted to get all the attentions from the Marines, which she succedded in doing....lol. It was so bad that I had to take a picture of her to share with everyone back home....lmao!!

The ceremony was really short and straight to the point. After everything we went to the barracks to laod up the car again and be on our way back to Jersey once again, we hit so much traffic and just wanted to get home. But over all everything was good and we had no problems. We got home around 10PM.
