Hurricane Sandy

So as most of you must know by now, the East Coast has been hit really hard by Hurricane Sandy. Thank God that all my family & friends from Maryland to NY are fine. My husband & I are fine, we lost power at our home & don't know when we will get it back. Word on the street is that it might be btwn Nov 5th - Nov 10th. Hopefully it comes on before that because we are staying at my mother house because luckily her power never went out & I don't know how long we will survive here with her.....lol 

Seaside Heights (Jersey Shore), NJ is gone. The boardwalk is completely gone.

25 lbs down....!!!

So from may to now I have lost a total of 25 lbs all together. I feel amazing carrying less weight around, I feel more healthy and confident. I'm into my 3rd week of P90X and after doing Insanity it really isn't that hard, but it's still challenging. I decided that I also wanted to start running so I made a running playlist on my iPhone and I can start on Saturday morning. So wish me luck everyone! I'm hoping that I can be at least another 15-20lbs lighter by the end of this year. Then rest for a week in the new year and start the Lean Program for P90X.

Back From Crap-Ghanistan

Hey everyone, sorry I havent blogged for a few days. But I was extrememly busy this weekend.  I had to leave for Maryland at 6AM on Saturday morning to go sign the house closing papers. I put my name down on the deed so the bank wouldn't take my aunts house away. So her boyfriend Vinnie & I have our names as the owners of the house.

Then I found out that my cousin Christian was coming home on Sunday from his deployment to Afghanistan (was there almost a yr). We did what we had to do to get ready for Sunday on Saturday. Then my cousin (hos sister Stephanie) and I got up and got ready to go get decorations at Party City. We came back home she went to the airport with her twin sister and my aunt, I stood at the house decorating and getting everything ready. Around 4:30 he came in through the door with a big smile on his face. Boy did we miss that face.

I was so happy that me & my mother were able to see him because we headed back to Jersey around 9:30pm that same night. We enjoyed the day with him.

Now we have him home for awhile so I can't wait to go back & see my family for Thanksgiving.

WHO'S STEVE?

So last night started like any other night. I got home from work started cooking & folded the laundry. The husband got home & his best friend came over for dinner. While they were hanging out I did my nails, our friend left and we went to watch tv on the couch. So my husband starts messing with me & tickling me. So during all of that I said please stop at the same time and it sounded like "Steve". So of course my husband starts asking me who the hell is Steve? I of course don't know another Steve besides his friend from the motorcycle club but we call him Country. Anyways, he wakes me up yelling this morning @ 5:30am about an overdraft fee that happened today. I told him to calm down, I transferred money to him from my acct. Then he starts saying that I am trying to make him believe that he said something else when he knows he didn't, just like he says I'm telling him that I am trying to make him believe that he didn't hear me say Steve. I swear to all of you that I have no reason to cheat on my husband. I love that man, then my own life & I would do anything for him. I can't imagine my life without him. I mean there isn't anything else I can tell him to think that I didn't say Steve, so I'm just gonna let him cool off.

I posted a picture from my p90x workout the other day.

Then I got a comment on it from a girl today that just made my day today.

After seeing that I thought that I would show ppl on Facebook and if I can change just 1 persons life then I have done my job.

After that I got another comment.

All of these positive comments are just giving me even more motivation to just keep going with my healthy lifestyle and continue working in my fitness level. I hope to reach my goal by the summer. I have been able to get down to 228 finally after staying at 230 for a couple of months. But I am going to make sure that once I hit my ultimate goal of weigh 145-150lbs I will just continue to workout and tone up. I can't wait until I am able to wear a bikini for once in my life when I go on vacation with my husband.

 

Stalking

Have you ever thought who and where your blog is being viewed? Well I have and I'm glad that blogspot actually keeps track of all the views for the day, week, month, etc., & where they are reading your blog. Never in a million years did I think that my blog would be seen in Russia, India, Greece, etc. I always thought that this blog was more for me. I wanted to have this blog like a diary in a sense for me. But, I guess I was wrong....lol.



P90X

Hello world, so I know that I have neglected you guys, and I am very sorry. I have been so busy lately with school, working out, looking for a new job, and helping my friend redo her new house.

My husband was away for 2 wks from Sept 16 to the 29th (actually 28th) in NC. He surprised me and came home a day early, which was awesome but I looked like total crap when he knocked on the door, plus the house was a total mess....lol. I was still happy I was able to sleep with him again so it didn't matter.

I did the Insanity/Brazilian Butt Lift hybrid program for a good month but got bored with it, so as of Monday I started P90X Round 1 Week1. Im doing the Classic program for these next 13 wks (Oct 1st-Dec 29th) then after that I will start the Lean program in Jan after taking a wk off of exercising. I will be posting progress pictures here to let you guys see my journey, so let's see where I look by Dec. Wish me luck.

Starting Over

So a few things came up these past 3 wks that I was not able to continue with Brazilian Butt Lift. But, as soon as I get home I am going to be doing it along with watching my recorded shows on my DVR. Then after 20 mins of that I am going to be doing the exercises for Bizzy Diet. It is a 3 week weight lifting program that has to incorporate cardio so I though I would combine the 2.

Wish me luck & here is to me losing at least 20-30 by November.

Motorcycle License

So I'm not sure if I have posted about this or not but my husband has a motorcycle & loves riding it. Who wouldn't, it is so freeing and exhilarating. Well before him, I had guy friends that would give me rides on the back of their motorcycles but that never really got me into thinking of getting my own or my license.

But, now that my hubby has one & he recently joined a motorcycle club, I have decided to get my license & my own motorcylce. I might as well do it now before I have any children. Today, I am going to the local motorcycle mall in town to get a basics class (what gear to get and what bike is right for me). The woman that is going to give the class started riding about 12-15 yrs ago & has her own basic riding class school. Now I have to save $300 so I can take her riding class, that way I can learn all the safe ways to be on the road and be a safe rider. I hope that I can get into her Sept class that way I can get my bike soon.

Hey everyone, I know I have been slacking on my blogging but don't worry I haven't about you! So I started a new weightloss program with my friend yesterday. I was only able to get through the first month of Insanity. I love it but since she wants to workout with me I stopped it for now. I am eating better and working out more then ever. I had stopped working out for about 3 wks and wasn't eating too well so I gained 5 lbs that I lost. I was so devastated when I say the # on the scale go up.

On another note, I just wanted to share how sweet my husband is; while I am at work a delivery guy from Edible Arrangements comes in asking for me.....I had the most puzzled look on my face...lol. My husband sent me a beautiful arrangement of chocolate covered strawberries with a sweet note & 3 ballons. I love when he does sweet things like that just because he felt like it.

Plus Size Modeling

Since I have been exercising and my body had been changing little by little & I have been becoming more & more comfortable with the way that my body is looking, that I have been contemplating becoming a model but I would be considered a Plus Size Model for my size. I know I'm not the best looking person but I know I'm not ugly.....lol. I hope I can do this one day. 



I Became A Coach!

Yup you guys read that right, I am officially a Beach Body Coach. I know I'm not in the best shape like other people out there, but this will motivate me even more to get in the best shape I can & help motviate others to change their lives also.

I also ordered Brazilian Butt Lift & Shakeology from Beach Body. I am so excited to where I am a week from now, a month from now, and then a year from now.

He's Home

He Will Be Home Tomorrow!

I finally got to talk to my DH & he told me that he gets in to Newark around 0400 & then gets bused to Picatinny Arsenal but won't get cut loose until around 0900. So I plan to have a good breakfast prepared for him and a dinner planned for the evening. I am also hoping to be able to buy his Birthday present for next Saturday. If everything goes well I can surprise him.

Haven't Really Talked to Him =(

So we are going into the 2nd week of my DH being away at 29 Palms & we haven't really talked except for early morning July 5th. I got in from watching the fireworks with my friend Jessica & her BF Alejandro around 10:45pm. I decided to do Insanity before bed so I did it and right after got in the shower. While I was finishing up I heard someone calling on Skype it was the hubby. I got to talk to him for about an hour and half. I was a very happy wife when I got off the phone & went to sleep. It was so good being able to hear his voice & see his sexy face.

I can wait until he is home, and according to him he told me yesterday in a quick text that he should be back in Jersey in 2 days. Which is sooner then they were supposed to come back so who really knows because I haven't spoken to him at all since.

Besides not being able to get in touch with the DH I haven't had a bad time alone. This past weekend I spent it in the pool with family & friends. I got a little color on me.

Then yesterday my best friend Kim (Partna) & Ary came over for dinner. it was the first time I cooked since Angel has been gone. Then we watched Teen Wolf while drinking a glass on wine....lol....we had a good time & I needed that because I was really missing my DH yesterday.

Hopefully I get to talk to him tonight (fingers crossed).

Hubby is at 29 Palms

He left for AT (annual training/Reservists) on Saturday. I was able to talk to him for a little on Saturday, then on Monday & didn't talk to him again until last night around 12:30am. I know it's only for 2 wks but I still miss him & he misses me too.

He left on Saturday morning to Picatinny Arsenal Army Base. I went out with my gf Jessie. we went to eat dinner at Applebee's & then went to see......

Sunday I went to my husband's cousin's house to take a dip in the pool until it started raining cats & dogs. But luckily it was only for a little while & we went right back in to keep cool.

I really didn't do anything Monday & Tuesday except hangout with my mom since she was leaving to Maryland on Tuesday night.

So I celebrated 4th of July basically by myself. I mean I went to my cousin's house for a little while and then to see the fireworks with my friend Jessie & her boyfriend. We had a good time but it was the same as previous years.

I got home around 2245 last night did some Insanity (which is going great by the way) took a quick shower right after. And thatnk God it was quick because if not I was going to miss my Skype call from my love. We talked until 0200am my time, 2300 California time. Then I had to be up at 0530 to get ready & be in at work at 0700. So I'm running on 3 1/2 hrs of sleep.

Too Young To Be Gone

So last sunday(6/24/12) my mom calls me at 7:30 am to tell me that her God-daughter Britney, my 13 yr old God-sister past away earlier that day on her way to to the hospital. She had been feeling sick while she was at the babysitters house. Her mom & my mother were at a church retreat for the weekend. So her mom gets a call around 3:30am and off she went to the babysitters house. As she got there the ambulance was putting Britney in the back of the rig. So her mom & step dad got in and went to the hospital with her. As they were on their way she was saying that her chest her and a few mins later she they started to do CPR because she past away on the way to the hospital. They tried to revive her for 45 mins until they finally said there was nothing more they could do and called it.

She had a heart murmur & had been problems latel but nothing serious, until that horrible day. We had a mass for her on Monday, then Tuesday we had a viewing for her at the church because there were too many people that loved and knew her to try and have it at a regular funeral parlor. Then the actual mass & funeral was on Wednesday there were about 1000 people. It was crazy but beautiful at the same time.

Celebrating Our Anniversary

So since Angel got home from work late on our anniversary last Monday, we are going to celebrate it on Saturday. He said we can do anything that I want, so since the state fair starts on friday we are going to do that during the day. Then later on in the day we are going to have dinner where we had our wedding reception. It should be a good day and weekend.



Insanity

So I have decided to try and do Insanity. My friend had it and she let me borrow it. So I started today with the first fit test. Wow, I have been working out for a while but it was still hard, but I got through it. I stopped & rested when I needed to but got back into it right after.

But that is not all I'm doing today. I'm still going to the gym after work & work out with my friend and do Phase 1~Week~2 Day 5 today. Wish me luck because I know I'm gonna want to quit but I refuse to continue to start over all the time.
