I can't believe we have been linking up with Amber over at Goodnight Moon5 1/2 months now.
I have one of the most fun songs to listen to right now. It's from a new artist but the style that he used in his song reminds me of the house parties I used to go to when I was younger & growing up with my older cousins that loved to hear house music.

I'm back to the link up!! I'm so sorry that I haven't participated in the past few weeks, but I have had a lot of things going on lately. But now I'm back with full force. Everyone should go and link up with Amber from Goodnight Moon.
The song that I choose for this week is Long Distance by Bruno Mars. Since I still have 10 days until I see him again. I know that is a little bit of time compared to a lot of you guys out there but we have been going through a lot & I just need him close to me in his arms where I feel safe & secure again.

My song for this week is Bob Sinclair ~ World Hold On I love to play this song while I'm exercising. It's such a wonderful motivation song & so much fun. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do & try exercising with it, & I promise you that you will actually like to exercise as hard as that songs....lol. The video is a little weird but forget about that just listen to the song.

Anyways, my song pick for this week is Beautiful by Christina Aguilera. I know I posted on a previous post that I was going to start exercising which have but not consistently. I am really have a lot of insecurities lately about my body. Especially since my mother tells me I need to lose wait almost every chance she gets. I mean I think she means well but she just doesn't know how to say it in a nice way. Anytime anyone talks to you about your weight it bothers but it shouldn't hurt your feelings. I have never been the skinny one in my family. All my cousins are way thinner then me, even on my wedding day I was the bigger one & all my bridesmaids were thin. I just tell my mother that she doesn't know what it is to be my size at my age because she has always been really thin, when she got married she was a size 2. I have never been that size in my life, ever. If I could even reach my goal of being a size 5 I'll be sooo happy instead of a size 14 now. It would be great if I could have someone to work out with at home or go to the gym with, it bothers me that my husband is so thin & in shape & loves going to the gym & I'm not. One thing I am thankful for is my husband though, he loves me just the way I am & tells me that if I lose weight I better not lose too much because he wants so meat on my bones...lol.....but ultimately it is my decision. He gets really mad when my mom starts criticizing me about my weight but stays quiet out of respect.

Well anyways, I have 4 picks for this week, I just can't choose one. I have been in a R&B mood all week & that is all I have been listening to. I love all these R&B singers, I can listen to their music for hours, so I leave you with the 4 songs I have had them on repeat on my laptop.

My choice for this week is I Gotta Be By Jagged Edge. This song takes me back 5 yrs ago when I first started dating my husband. He dedicated this song to me while we were sitting in front of my porch 5 summers ago. I never thought that we would be married 5 summers later.
I love this man so much, he is my entire world. I can't believe how wonderful he turned out to be & made me the happiest woman alive when he married me on June 11th, 2010.

Now I leave you with my pick of the week. It is Can't Take My Eyes Off You by Lady Antebellum. I just love what this song says because it relates so much with my life. When I first started talking to my husband I had just gotten out of a bad relationship & wasn't looking for anything. Until he showed me what real love is & what it means to love someone. I have been alone this whole week until Sunday because Angel had to go to Arkansas for a week long training for his job. Then when he comes back on Friday I have to drive him to Picatinny Arsenal Army Base for his weekend of drill. I have been listening to music that reminds me of him but this song always takes me back to how things were in the beginning, I miss those days but I love what I have with him now too. I miss sleeping next to him & I just miss being goofy at home with him. So I hope you guys like this song just as much as I do, please enjoy.....

I grew up listening to 80's & 90's music because of all my older cousins. So everytime I hear this song I always go back to the times that my aunt would babysit me & I would sneak into my older cousins rooms to listen to the radio or their tapes. I would always get caught but my cousins would just let me listen along with them. Oh how I miss those days. I hope you all enjoy my song & join in on the fun.

This is an awesome 1976 song. It is a great song to listen to when you just want to relax. But don't you just love the guitar solo. I remember I first this song in Jerusalem when we were on the bus. We had some down time & the guys brought out their guitars & we were having a blast. When all of a sudden the preiest from my church Fr. Sean borrowed a guitar & played this song while he sang it too. We had a great time, this song always brings me back to my trip to Jerusalem back in 2000. Enjoy!!!

My husband dedicated this song to me the night he left to boot last December & it really helped me through the time he was gone. I mean I cried everytime I heard it because it reminded me of him. Every chance I got I would hear it....lol....my mom was so tired of the song by the time my love graduated from Boot, but I loved it. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do.
